Mentoring Team

Prime Time Ministries provides an opportunity for people who have gone through a large part of their lives with God to provide help to others, regardless of their age, who have not had those life experiences. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to better equip them to live life more successfully by following the word of God. Volunteer to join the Mentoring Team to minister to anyone at First Assembly needing assistance in the following areas. How can your life experiences help us?
Spiritual Mentoring
- For anyone needing someone to come alongside of them in Spiritual matters
Job Assistance
- Resume consultation, finding employment, on-the-job issues, relationships
Finance Issues
- Budgeting, spending, savings, taxes
Family Issues
Communications Team
TEAM LEADERS: Wayne and Linda Howes
Our Communications Team coordinates all communications between Prime Time Ministries and the church regarding events, information for the bulletin and Special Events.
Special Events Team
TEAM LEADERS: TBA
The Special Events team coordinates all major Prime Time events. This would include people who would like to volunteer for 2-3 events a year that will minister/entertain.
Information Booth Team
TEAM LEADER: Linda Ayoki
Our Information booth team staffs the Prime Time lobby booth. They coordinate efforts to get people involved in any of the Ministry Opportunities.
Sunday School Class & Fellowship Team
TEAM LEADERS: Richard & Suzanne Lentner
Our Sunday Morning Class meets on Sunday Mornings at 10:30 AM in Room 110. Lots of fellowship opportunities with monthly luncheons/breakfasts, etc.
Evangelism & Outreach Team
TEAM LEADER: Mary Teegarden
Our Evangelism & Outreach team volunteers for visits to hospitals or nursing homes. You can also volunteer to put your name on a list to help at House of Prayer, our church’s inner city ministry.
Life Groups Team
TEAM LEADERS: TBA
Join a small group, Get connected! In our church, small groups are called Life Groups. We can find one in your neighborhood. These include deep Bible study, prayer, special interest groups such as business, art, golfing, hunters, etc. Pastor Dave DeHaan, Community Life Pastor, has many groups in place to assist us in getting connected with one another.
