Throughout the course
of the year children can enjoy a number of exciting special programs & activities presented by
the dedicated Children’s Ministry staff & volunteers.
All children’s events are open to the public. Call the
church office for more information or to be a volunteer.
2011 ANNUAL EVENTS
Hiawatha Hog Wild Days Parade - June
Cheer for the First Assembly of God “Lifeguards” in
this fun annual parade. Lots of candy and smiles are given out
as the sirens & music entertain the crowd.
Iowa District Summer Camp for Boys & Girls 4th – 6th
grades
The annual Iowa District Summer Camp is held at Sunstream Retreat
Center in Ogden, IA. Children leave the church on Monday morning,
returning on Friday afternoon accompanied by camp counselors
from our church. The weeks activities are packed with fun including
fellowship, programs, crafts and games.

Fun galore awaits kids through 6th grade. Fall Fest is loaded with lots of candy, prizes, games, puppets, skits and an amazing program you don’t want to miss! Bring the whole family and come on out to enjoy this high octane event! We meet in the Chapel at 6:30 PM. No scary costumes, please!

Children’s Christmas Musical – December 18

Practice begins in September each year as children begin singing, dancing and acting rehearsals for this popular annual program. Each year a different musical is presented. The program, as well as the “opening act” with singing preschool children, is sure to entertain children & adults and is performed during both services on a Sunday in December. This event is free of charge and open to the public.
